G’Day LA, introducing Ellie Bourke

G'Day LA“G’Day LA” tells the story of Ellie Bourke, a young Australian actress trying to gain a foothold in big, bad Hollywood. After a year of small parts and excessive gratuitous breast exposure she’s ready to pack it in and head back to Australia to re-evaluate her options.

Coming home one day after two terrible auditions to discover her roommate, and only real friend Joel Sampson dead of an apparent suicide clinches it. She packs her bags, books her flight and is ready to hop.

Then she learns some information that contradicts the suicide. He had everything to live for. Somebody killed him. There’s no way she can leave LA now, not with her best friend’s killer about to get away with murder.

Fighting against the police who are convinced it’s self-induced and a show business hierarchy more than willing to sweep things under the rug Ellie goes head to head with the killer, every step putting her life more in danger.

Will she find Joel’s killer? Does she avenge his death? Does she get a role that allows her to stay clothed for the full 120 minutes?

Stay tuned. June 1 is the release date of “G’Day LA”, when those questions and many more will be answered.

Between now and then I’ll introduce some of the other characters in carefully worded profiles that will hopefully avoid spoilers.
